Virgo New Moon 2025

Hello Beautiful Soul,

As Friday turns to Saturday, the Virgo New Moon peaks in the early hours overnight — a quiet threshold into a new cycle of devotion, rhythm, and clarity.

Where Leo has asked us to shine boldly, Virgo reminds us to return to the roots — to tend the small, sacred steps that keep us grounded as the seasons shift.

This New Moon lands at the very first degrees of Virgo, right alongside Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini — all newly stationed in their signs, all beginning fresh stories. Their alignment at this cusp of beginnings reminds us that we’re not only stepping into a new lunar cycle, but also into a collective chapter that will shape our world for years to come.

🔮 Cosmic Weather: The Minor Grand Trine

If you look at tonight’s chart, you’ll see a bold blue triangle on the left side — a minor grand trine linking Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn/Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini (from top to bottom counter clock-wise). These are the outer planets, the slow movers shaping our generation.

  • Pluto in Aquarius: power for the people, transformations in technology, collective systems, and even the mysteries of what lies beyond (Remember the 3 A's: aliens, AI, and activism).

  • Saturn + Neptune in Aries: the demand to dream new structures, to take responsibility for our visions, and to ground spirituality into action.

  • Uranus in Gemini: fresh winds of change, turning our perspectives upside down to bring breakthrough and innovation.

And now we also have this New Moon at the beginning of Virgo — asking: How do these sweeping changes live in your body, your habits, your rituals, your day-to-day life?

🌑 Lunar Nodes & Eclipse Preview

Though this is not an eclipse, the Moon lands on the Virgo–Pisces axis of the current lunar nodes, offering us a preview of what September’s Eclipse Season will amplify.

  • South Node in Virgo: the shadow pull of perfectionism, over-analysis, and endless labor.

  • North Node in Pisces: the invitation to trust intuition, flow, and surrender.

If we don't tap into our inner compass, we risk being swept into collective drama and fear. The work now is to go with your gut — and then do your due diligence. Planting intentions under this Moon can smooth the path for eclipse season.

Knowing where this is happening in your personal chart can illuminate so much and give you a preview of what's ahead.

In my own home, I see this dance in Travis’s chart. His South Node rests in Virgo in the 6th House — the realm of daily rhythms and service. The shadow here is the pull toward perfection: to fix, to polish, to make every detail “just right.”

But his North Node lies in Pisces in his 12th House — the place of dreams, intuition, and mystery. His soul’s call is to let go of rigid routines and surrender into the unknown, to trust that presence matters more than flawless order.

And here’s the beautiful synchronicity: the Virgo–Pisces axis is where the lunar nodes are right now. Travis’s chart mirrors the collective invitation — the micro reflecting the macro. We’re all being asked to release Virgo’s perfectionism and move toward Pisces’ trust in flow and the sacred mess of living.

Becoming a father has made this lesson crystal clear for him. The 6th House may whisper, “Do more, fix more, perfect more.” But the 12th House calls, “Be here in love. Be present in the mess and mystery.”

And maybe you’ve felt your own version of this, too. We all carry a South Node — a comfortable but limiting pattern — and a North Node that asks us to grow.

That’s why, on September 4th at 7:30pm ET, we’ll gather for Chart Your Magic. Together, we’ll explore the Moon in our charts and these shadow points — Lilith, Chiron, and especially the Nodes — so you can see how these invitations are alive in your own story, and prepare for the eclipses this September.

You’ll receive a workbook + replay, so even if you can’t attend live, you’ll have the tools.

🌑 Ritual Prompt: Practical Magic

Pause and write down one or two things you are truly devoted to this season — not as a way to chase flawless order, but to anchor yourself in steady presence.

But remember: magic is more than intention. To manifest our dreams, we must tend them in the soil of the everyday. So for this Moon cycle, I invite you to choose one or two goals or visions that feel alive for you. Break them into small, doable steps. Write them into your planner, calendar, or notes app — transforming it into a sacred tool of creation.

When we align intention with action, our daily rhythms become a ritual. This is the essence of Virgo magic: weaving spirit into the practical.

An Invocation for Your Tools
Hold your planner, calendar, or even your phone to your heart and say:

"I dedicate this tool to be more than schedules and lists.
May it carry my devotion.
May it help me shape the life I am here to live.
May every step I take be both practical and sacred."

Let this simple blessing turn even the act of organizing your week into a ritual of presence and creation.

May this Virgo New Moon offer you clarity without rigidity, devotion without perfection, and the grace of presence in all you plant.

So much love and gratitude,
Rebecca Rose

P.P.S. Sunday marks the final dance of our Summer Dance Series — and the 5-year anniversary of our very first Ecstatic Forest gathering. We began these dances during lockdown, creating a lifeline of movement and connection when the world felt so restricted.

Since then, so much has unfolded — friendships, loves, babies, and the freedom to gather again — yet the joy of dancing outdoors has remained our constant. Come celebrate that joy with us!
